Drawing from a rich academic background in history, psychology, Mandarin, and theatre, along with hands-on experience in published scientific research, Jess brings a distinctly interdisciplinary approach to Sigma’s consulting. Her process centers on guiding students to build authentic and holistic narratives that fully express their genuine interests, experiences, and passions, not just what appears impressive, but what represents their true selves.
With years of experience at Harvard's Writing Center, Jess has expertly advised both Harvard students and high school applicants, refining her skills with writers of varying abilities.
Her role as an educator is to foster this drive through open communication and thorough discussion, creating a supportive space where students feel empowered to explore their ideas authentically.
